Dr. Ted received his bachelor's degree from Boston College and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1981. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Association, Metropolitan Association and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an award given to only 7% of dentists in the United States. In order to obtain this prestigious award, a dentist must pass a rigorous written exam and exceed continuing education requirements. Each year he averages over FIVE TIMES the number of continuing education hours required for licensure and has been voted America's Top Dentist by the Consumers Research Council of America every year since 2003.
Affectionately known as "the Doctor's Dentist," Dr. Ted treats many of his fellow Boston dentists, as well as physicians, nurses and their families at his Newton Centre dental office. Beyond his passion for dentistry, Dr. Ted is also an avid equestrian who competitively breeds and shows American Quarter Horses.
